Do you enjoy stories from the Star Trek universe? Have you ever thought about telling similar stories? Then come join the crew of the USS Churchill as we continue the saga. We welcome experienced and novice writers alike. All it takes is a sense of imagination, a keyboard and an email account.
The year is 2384. The political hawks and doves struggle to chart a course for the Federation and the Starfleet that protects it. In the wake of the costliest war to ever face the Federation, the USS Churchill is getting ready for a new mission. A veteran of more than one war, and a ship that was once said to be ready for retirement, those voices are silent as the rebuilding from the Dominion War continues. New ships are being developed and produced as rapidly as possible while an urgent call has been put forth for older vessels to be refitted in order to fill vacant slots in the Star Fleet.
Come join the crew of the USS Churchill as they face new explorations, and new adversaries as well as some old ones. Bring forth your imagination and help tell the tale of a mighty ship. Her namesake, Sir Winston Churchill, once said, 'The price of greatness is responsibility.' Do you have what it takes to follow your destiny and achieve greatness?

The mission is as follows:
A prestigious university, or the members of, bent Federation rules to do an archaeological dig on a frozen city far below the ice on a world previously thought uninhabited. They have not responded to any com traffic in over two days. The city is currently dark and has mysteries to be revealed... and then there are the caretakers who may not like intruders (think StarGate Atlantis to some degree).
Will the crew be able to answer who built the city? Why was it not seen before now? Where did it come from if it wasnt built here? Where are the archaeologists? Be thinking and feel free to forward any ideas or suggestions to myself or the XO. I hope you enjoy the ride.
